Die gesamte Werkzeugkonstruktion, Gussformherstellung, Flächenmodellierung bis hin zur Ableitung von Elektroden und Zeichnungserstellung wird für einen realen Eiskratzer gezeigt. Die zahlreichen neuen Konstruktionsübungen sind didaktisch so aufgebaut, dass der Leser auch eine eigene Konstruktion verwenden kann.
