Jim Clark is the founder of Ministers Training Institute which has been training five-fold ministry for thirty years. In apostolic form he has planted churches and has overseen pastors since the 1980's. Presently he spends his time writing "spiritually technical" books to assist present day ministry. He is the author of The Harmony of Proverbs, The Church and Present Day Apostleship, 101 Things Every Pastor Should Know, Romans, A commentary, A Brief Theology (encapsulated systematic theology). The is presently writing The Church in a Cultural Conflict.Jim was born in Connecticut in the 1930's; he received his BA from William Carey College, his MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Vision International University. He is married to his wife, Janet and they now have seven children, twenty-five grand children and two great-grand children. The reside in Prairieville, Louisiana and are an integral part of the Bethany World Prayer Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; where Jim serves as one of the Apostolic presbyters."The Narrow Way" a Handbook on Discipleship takes a 'raw' convert into a lifestyle of discipleship beginning with his conversion and water baptism into a thorough training of Jesus' Character (some 50 aspects) to develop proper motives and attitudes. The disciple learns not only the Scriptural values of every aspect of the narrow way, but is also trained to strengthen them using the sixteen disciplines the early church practiced to allow the salvation experience to be enhanced - spirit, soul and body. The goal, of course, for every disciple is to serve God; but in the normal church experience that follows the American culture; it is usually a "fast track" that results in an uninformed and ill-prepared "leader" that ninety-five time out of one hundred - fails; usually causing the ill-trained member to leave the church and often his Lord. The book discusses the aspects and processes from which come true leaders-servants that are ready for Kingdom living.

Jim Clark was a genuine sporting hero. He won 25 of his 72 Grands Prix and in the sixties was the yardstick by which every other driver on the starting grid was judged, and by which they judged themselves. Quite simply, Clark was peerless. Stubborn and notoriously indecisive outside the car, he would nervously chew his fingernails, but he was a genius when he got behind the wheel. To many he remains the greatest racing driver of all time, not just because of his fearsome strike rate and the magnitude and manner of his achievements, but also because he remained humble and unspoiled throughout. Published on the 50th anniversary of Clark's death, this book, 20 years in the making, is a deeply detailed look at a complex and compelling character.

Among the books written about the Hurricane Katrina tragedy, Grace Amid Tragedy stands out with its broader perspective and inspiring message. As a Red Cross volunteer, Jim Clark was a first-hand witness to the catastrophic damage and the heart-wrenching stories. Going beyond that, however, Clark finds the silver lining in this literal storm, with recognition of the Katrina response as the largest outpouring of donations, volunteers, and compassion in our country's history. Chronicling the courage and spiritual growth of a handful of hurricane victims over the five month period after the hurricane, along with his own sense of personal growth, we are left with an uplifting and insightful testament to the human spirit. Fifty percent of the profits from the sale of this book will be donated to the hurricane Katrina rebuilding effort. "If you're seeking more meaning in your life, this book is an inspiring guide. Jim Clark's descriptions of his experiences with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort make us all feel more alive, connected, and open to our own intuitive, wake-up calls." -- Susan Skog, author

Jim Clark had a towering ability to get the maximum out of any car he drove, without appearing to be trying hard. Motor racing found in this gentle Scottish farmer a World Champion of great humility, for Clark appeared to have trouble appreciating just how great his own talent was. He raced in an era when chivalry was still an intrinsic part of the game, and he never resorted to underhand tactics. He started racing in a friend's cars, initially without the knowledge of his parents. Before long he had graduated to the famous Border Reivers team's Jaguar D Type, and soon the motor racing world was taking notice of his prowess. He won races in a Lotus Elite and a Lister Jaguar to underline his ability, but when a drive with Aston Martin's Grand Prix team collapsed together with the project, he signed for Formula Two and Formula Junior with Lotus. It was to prove the start of one of the most remarkable team owner/driver relationships in history.
