How to grow in love for your church. God calls us to be "devoted to one another in love" (Romans 12:10). What does this look like for us today? How can we be the kind of church member who makes a real difference? This engaging book by Tony Merida explores what church is, why being part of it is exciting, and why it’s worthy of our love and commitment. He sets out eight privileges and responsibilities of a church member: to belong, to welcome, to gather, to care, to serve, to honour, to witness and to send. As we see how wonderful it is to belong to God’s family and be a part of his amazing witness to both the earthly and the heavenly realms, we’ll grow in our love for and commitment to our local church. This is a great book for every churchgoer to read, whether they’re new or have been attending for some time but need re-energising with God’s vision for the local church. With a discussion guide at the end of the book, Love Your Church is also a great resource for small groups.

In this heroic tale of Love, courage, commitment, and awaken through brotherhood, this Manuscript shows how communication cannot exist without understanding, and power isn't achieved without knowledge. Remarkably so, at 33 years of age Reginald Joseph Jr. with this book, embodies the essence of fellowship in the church, the marriage, our friendships, and more importantly ourselves, by using theology, psychology, and sports references to send the readers on a Christ awakening note journey. Based on true events, he writes a love letter to the church and to marriages around the world using personal experiences and entendres to convince a body of believers of their true superpower in strength in numbers, and unity. With his platform, Reginald writes out his thesis sermon to the masses, and provides a business plan for the community/ communities to save a sleeping nation. Highlighting hometown heroes; in this first, of a two book series confronting the new age. This book is a must have.

"Mama, something terrible is wrong with me. There is blood in my panties!" Those were the words of seven-year-old Sarah. Mama told her she must have fallen or something and not to worry. Sarah went away feeling sad; her chance for help was gone! It was Sarah's alter, Susie, who had been sticking pencils and other items in her private place. Susie had come when Sarah was only four years old. Susie had become Daddy's 'special' little girl by sitting on his lap. In return he gave her a dollar for any change she had. Daddy played with Susie's pee pee and it was Susie that slept in the upstairs bedroom with her fourteen-year-old brother. Later in life, two other alters would appear. "You Love Your Daddy, Don't You?" is told through the memories of Sarah. It reveals a child's determination to survive despite profound emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. This was compounded by constant neglect from both parents. About the Author: Sarah Harrison has written several articles for the Women's Institute for Incorporation Therapy's monthly newsletter as well as articles for spiritual magazines. She also volunteers as a mentor in a local school system, helps with special group activities in an assisted living home, and provides guidance to troubled parents and teens on After the death of her husband, Sarah Harrison moved from Atlanta, Georgia in 2007 to a suburb near Charlotte, North Carolina to be near her grandchildren. She has joined Harrison United Methodist Church and is active in Youth Group, Emmaus, Epiphany, and Faith Partners.

Organic Outreach for Churches

If the members of your church are will- ing to embrace the Word of God as truth and as their roadmap for life , there is still hope that they can be led into world - changing outreach . Question 2 Does your church love people and long ...

Nearly all churches and ministries consider themselves dedicated to evangelism, and many explicitly include outreach in their mission statements. But few are actually bearing fruit. Kevin Harney diagnoses this problem and offers guidance for multiplying the outreach impact of churches. Organic Outreach for Churches provides direction for local congregations to weave evangelism into the fabric of the church. Commitment to the Great Commission is not simply about sending money and prayers to missions or holding occasional events to reach out (although these things are good). Organic outreach happens when evangelistic vision and action become the domain of every ministry and the commitment of every person in the congregation. This will not happen accidentally. There is huge spiritual and practical resistance to such changes. But the only way evangelism will become an organic part of a church is when every leader and each member is gripped by a commitment to proclaiming the gospel. This book is a roadmap for pastors and leaders who wish to infuse evangelistic passion into every aspect of their church's life.

God Really Is A Woman

Ephesians 5:25-33: “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it:” If a husband chooses to love his wife, how will his wife respond? She will feel loved. She will feel joy.

God Really Is a Woman When we say God is really a woman, we have come to this conclusion by both Scriptural proof and logic. God is perfect in all things. Therefore He is perfect in logic. We see in the Scriptures that God is three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus speaking to His twelve apostles said in Matthew 28, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel, baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” The popular belief is that the Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus. The scriptures show that the Holy Spirit is the Mother which we will see. The Holy Spirit descended from the clouds in the form of a dove. What a wonderful, beautiful picture of the blessed Holy Spirit Mother. We cannot learn the truth of God from the manuscripts. A lifetime of study of them wouldn’t reveal the truth of the Holy Spirit. It has been lost in the translations. But not in God’s Word. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will not pass away.” The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, (Father, Son, Mother), is a perfect picture and example of a perfect family by which every family should strive to imitate.

The church is the hope of the world when it's working right...and therein lies the problem. Most aren't. This has led both Christians and non-Christians to give up on the church entirely; it has led many others to give up on all existing churches-and maybe even start new ones. But all church can and should be transitioned to a new life. A church is never beyond hope. This book will provide principles and practices that can lead to a resurrection of any church, in any setting. It will provide the inspiration and information needed to lead a church successfully through the necessary changes of tradition and culture without compromising God's timeless truth. When this happens, the church will once again be what God intended...the hope of the world.

Leadership in Small Churches

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBORS My attendance in the City Council meeting was in response to an ongoing, heartfelt burden that I needed to get out of the church more often, meeting people and learning about concerns of families in our area.

Leadership in Small Churches inspires and equips men and women who are called to serve in churches of less than 100 people, which are the majority of churches in the United States. Small churches in the United States suffer from a lack of leadership. On the one hand, there is a shortage of leaders. On the other hand, leaders who serve faithfully sometimes feel ill-equipped to carry out their calling due to inadequate training, especially a lack of training specific to small churches. This volume provides guidance from scholars and practitioners with experience in small churches. Because of their experience in and commitment to ministry in small churches, these writers are well qualified to discuss the breadth of topics in this book. These topics include developing vision, handling conflict, pastoral care, preaching, discipleship, ministry to youth and children, missions, and identifying and training leaders.
